And Then You Step Onto Main Street...
There's a moment that gets me every time. You walk through the tunnel and step onto Main Street, U.S.A., and sudenly the rest of the world feels a little farther away.
The music is playing. You catch the sweet smell drifting from the confectionery. Balloons bob above the crowd as families make their way down the street, children giggle with excitement, and then you look ahead and there it is-Cinderella Castle waiting at the end of Main Street.
For me, it's a feeling that's hard to describe: peace, joy, excitement and a little bit of wonder all at once. No matter how many times I walk through that tunnel, that feeling never gets old.

One of the things I love most about Disney is the little details. Look closely and you'll find surprises everywhere. You might spot a Hidden Mickey beneath your feet or even Dumbo's footprint, complete with a tiny peanut. There's always something new to discover.

From trick-or-treating throughout the park to the unforgettable Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, special entertainment, and beloved Disney characters dressed for the occasion, it’s a Halloween celebration filled with Disney magic.
This special event takes place on select nights during the Halloween season.
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party
Commonly known as MVMCP, this separately ticketed holiday celebration transforms Magic Kingdom into a winter wonderland! From festive decorations and snowfall on Main Street, U.S.A., to Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, special holiday entertainment, and beloved Disney characters dressed in their holiday best, it’s a Christmas celebration filled with Disney magic.
This special event takes place on select nights during the holiday season.
Looking for even more magic after dark? On select nights, Disney After Hours offers a separately ticketed opportunity to enjoy Magic Kingdom with typically shorter attraction waits and extra time to experience the park after regular closing
And Then the Sky Comes Alive...
As the sun begins to set, Cinderella Castle starts to glow, and Main Street takes on a whole different kind of magic. Families find their favorite spots, little ones settle onto shoulders, and everyone waits for the nighttime spectacular to begin.
Then the music starts. The castle comes alive with colorful projections, familiar songs fill the air, and the first fireworks light up the sky. Before you know it, you're singing along, watching Tinker Bell fly and getting caught up in the moment.
And when those final fireworks burst above Cinderella Castle, there's just something about standing there, surrounded by people who are all sharing that same magical moment.
No matter how many times I see it, it never gets old.
